A Classical Dance Workshops Featuring the all time famous.
GOLDEN OLDIE : BETES-AL LEH ALAYYA.
Fayza Ahmed was a Syrian / Palestinian singer who immigrated to Egypt and became one of the most loved singers of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. She starred and sang in many of the top musical films such Tamr-Henna featuring the world famous star dancer Naima Akef.
In this workshop, Serena brings you an emotional choreography, interlacing the various styles from that glorious era to the heart melting song Betes Al Leh Alayya from Hossam's bestselling album El Amar EUCD 1589 that features Mohsen Allaam, Cairo’s most sought after accordionist.
Delicate moves, with feminine touches, weaving a colourful tapestry from the past by the world's most talented dancer, choreographer and instructor, Serena Ramzy, the Naima Akef of the 21st Century.
Sunday the 19th July 2009:
Another Dynamic SABLA TOLO Dance Workshop that will Rock You.
This time it is no joke… Due to the HUGE DEMAND by all the dancers we surveyed.
SABLA TOLO IS WHAT YOU WANT.
“DALLOUA” (The Coy, Spoiled One) is a piece that conjures up images from Egypt, Central, Northern & Southern African images fused in with Latin American grooves and dynamic fills from parts of the world where spiritual elevations are experienced through Trance Dancing to the pulsating drum beats.
Afro – Brazilian culture.
Here, Serena brings you her highest form of technique, expressing the
rhythms in a most powerful image in one dance routine that interprets every
Dom and every Tack from Hossam’s first world record shattering album “Sabla
Tolo I. This album has now become the forefather to the Sabla Tolo
Legacy. The world's new standard for Drum Solos.
