Egyptian Dance Workshops with Hossam & Serena Ramzy in Bristol.
10th of October: Classical Choreography from the Golden Era of Modern Egyptian Dance. The 70’s and 80’s have been named the Golden Era of Modern Egyptian Dance. In this workshop, Serena has created a new choreography to the song Mahasin Essodaf from Hossam's multi award winning album Faddah.Grand introduction, intricate Baladi Dancing within the composition and much more.
11th of October: A Sabla Tolo Choreography that will rock you. Due to a huge public demand, we are putting on this workshop, breaking down a powerful choreography by Serena to Hossam's dynamic drum solo composition My Brazilian Pearl, from his Best Selling album Sabla Tolo II. You will learn Hossam's intricate rhythms and you will dance Serena's exciting and dynamic steps. You will be fusing sounds and moves from Egypt, Brazil, Tunisia, The Arabian Gulf together with the heart and soul of Africa.
12:00Pm to 6:00PM on both days.£35 per day.
