Details: Second International Oriental Dance Festival in UAE. This event, organised by SunSet Event and Dareen, includes oriental dance workshops, a bellydance competition, a gala-show with special dinner at Le Meridien Dubai and a closing party in the desert on the last night.

The Raks Sharky (bellydance) competition is split in 2 categories:
- Intermediate level (training more than 6 months). - Advanced level (two years and more).
There are 3 prices for each category, plus various gifts offered by sponsors. In order to take part to the competition, dancers must be at least 21 years of age (or have parental permission if younger). The maximum 
music length is 3 minutes for the Intermediate level and 5 for the Advanced; any props are accepted. The dancers will be judged according to three criteria: technique, image and dancing composition.
The judges are professional choreographers and dancers, including Moria Chappell from the Bellydance Superstars. The number of participants is limited to 10 per category and the registration’s deadline in 15th April.
Famous dancers from all over the world will perform at the gala-show, which will include many different oriental folkloric dance forms, such as Khalegee, Hagala, Saidi, Dabke, Alexandria as well as Arabic tango, Tribal and Fusion with Moria Chappell from the BellyDance SuperStars.
During the weekend there will be also a fashion show, featuring costumes by Egyptian bellydance designers and a performance of live Arabic music with the best Arabic orchestra in UAE and the great violinist Khaled Ghadriand.

- Tribal with Moria Chappell from the Bellydance Superstars.
- Solo tabla with Irina Popova.
- Saidi with Irina Popova.
- Raks Shargy rhythms and compositions with Dareen.
- Khalegee with Sandra.
- Egyptian technique and choreography with Mohammed Alomre
All participants will receive a certificate after attending the workshops.
