Cost: $700 (USD) all workshops, seminars and evening events ($100 off before March 1).
Details: Keti Sharif presents 5 days of seminars by pioneers of dance in Egypt, Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy and top speakers plus evening cultural events. Exploring the spectrum of Egypt's Folkloric Arts and Ethnology with 
Farida Fahmy, Mahmoud Reda and guests.
Further information: The Sphinx Festival is a 5 day festival, featuring seminars on Egyptian dance from its folkloric roots to modern days. Hosted by Keti Sharif, the event is limited to 60 participants and the event includesdaily workshops from 10am-5pm plus five evening cultural events.
Last year's event review can be seen on the website. Keti offers three scholarships for Egyptian dance students living in Egypt as part of an incentive to return the arts to their source and encourage the preservation of dance in Egypt, under the mentorship of Farida and Mahmoud themselves.
