Hipnotic – Belly dance workshop in Reading, UK, 17th January 2010

Hipnotic – Belly dance workshop in Reading, UK, 17th January 2010.

Location: Reading, Berkshire, UK.

Venue: Jazz Café, Madejski Stadium, Reading (Just off junction 11, M4), UK.

Date: 17th January, 2010.

Time: 7pm - 10.30pm.

Cost: £7.00.

Details: Hipnotic offers the opportunity to take a fun belly dance class in a great venue with a bar. The event is designed to appeal to those not yet involved with belly dance as well as those that are, so you will find that on some occasions we are not as performance heavy as you might expect a Hafla to be. This is a conscious decision on our part as we want to provide opportunities for you to catch up with friends as well as dance and enjoy other people's dancing.

Further information: if you've never tried this dance: bring your friends and take a Beginners class, enjoy some quality entertainment from fabulous performers and dance to some great Arabic music. If you are a belly dancer already: come along with your friends and class-mates and enjoy a great evening out. You could use the classes as a warm-up for the evening, or as a way of adding to your skills with either the Middle Eastern class or the Improvised Tribal class.

Dress code: if you have a costume or belly dance belt you would like to wear feel free! We generally ask all participants in classes to wear soft flat shoes or to have bare feet. When dancing at other times then please use your judgement about whether to wear shoes or go barefoot.
