Details: We are delighted to invite you to join the second edition of Tribal UMRAH festival. This year, as UMRAH means "pilgrimage" in Arabic language, Tribal UMRAH will move to Nîmes- the 2000 years old antic roman city of Nemausus- in the South East of France. Tribal UMRAH is just a stop on your way to tribal bellydance! The festival hosts an amazing line-up of internationally famous artists: Amy Sigil and her troupes Unmata & Verbatim, Colleena Shakti, Jill Parker, Mança Pavli, Morgana and her Dance company Excalibur, The Makosh Corporation directors, Eva and Noemie, The Saada Tribal Group directors, Anisah and Danahana Sherri aka Cherchez la Femme and Sera Soltice.
To support the promotion of American Tribal Bellydance in Europe, some French tribal bellydancers will teach free intro workshops. We want to spread the magic of tribal bellydance in the heart of peps who haven't been hooked yet! 42 dance classes from "intro" to "pro" levels,1 outdoor show on a beautiful venue, 1 after party, 1 day dedicated to touring the gypsy part of The Camargue, 1 picnic in the very beginning of the festival. Nîmes is a very antique city surrounded by antique sites, the Mediterranean Sea, mountains and rivers. This is a beautiful place to spend holidays with family and friends.
