Majma – Belly dance festival in Glastonbury, UK, March 2010
Majma, the annual Middle Eastern and World Dance Festival in Glastonbury,
UK, is back for 2010. Again this year, as in 2009, Majma features great international and British teachers and
performers, who represent a wide range of styles, from Egyptian to tribal, Turkish and fusion. Majma, organised by Raheesha and the Desert Divas, is a
weekend full of oriental dance workshops and shows and it also includes a bazaar and showcase on the last day.
Teachers this year include Farida Fahmy, Ava Fleming, Ozgen, Paulette Rees-Denis, Maria D’Silva and a host of top UK instructors.
