Tribal Force – tribal workshops by Storm Troupers Bellydance in Midland, Texas, USA in March 2010
Date: 20th and 21st March 2010.
Time: this is a weekend full of tribal workshops the whole day on Saturday and Sunday, which can be booked individually. There is also a show on Saturday, which starts at 8.00pm and ends at 11.00pm.

Event Information: Storm Troupers Bellydance are a West Texas phenomenon, directed by Andrea Mauldin, a Permian Basin native, and Victoria Whitecotton, a recent transplant from Great Britain. Together they have a combined experience of about 10 years. The troupe performs locally and throughout Texas in the tribal fusion style, but Andrea and Victoria do like to push the limits and experiment with different styles, music and attitude.
Tribal Force is the brainchild of Andrea and Victoria and is the first workshop event Storm Troupers Bellydance has hosted. They would like you all to come and check out the fantastic workshops available during the weekend of March 20-21, 2010 and enjoy an amazing performance at Midland's beautiful Yucca Theater. Storm Troupers are particularly excited about welcoming the wonderful John Compton from California to Midland, TX. There is something for everyone from ballet enthusiasts, to folkloric tribal practitioners and even a workshop on the Celtic dances of Breton with EJ Jones of Teribus.
Artists teaching workshops during the weekend, in addition to John Compton and Storm Troupers, include Silvia Salamanca, Diane Faulkner (who will be teaching a fun Hula workshop), Cheryl Bushey, Michelle Manx and Teribus plus a drum workshop with Kevin Hartnell.
