Details: This event is for Oriental Dance enthusiasts of all kinds to enjoy the variety of different styles of Oriental dance from India to Andalusia, from Folklore to Classic form, from Raq Sharqi to Tribal Style, from Kathak to Kalbeliya Indian Gypsy style, from Uzbec to Persian Dances, from Turkish Gypsy to Sufi Dervishes. The stage of Venice is prestigious for our International Competition, which relies on the support of the Department of Culture - 
City of Venice, the Veneto Region, International Dance Council CID UNESCO.
Three prestigious trophies, designed and created specially for the event by a Venetian master of international fame and produced by New Murano Gallery, will be donated to the winners of the competition for: Best Choreography, Best Performance, Artistic Innovation. Venice Oriental Dance Convention is a great opportunity to experiment, exchange and create communication between different international schools.
