Details: This is an opportunity to spend a weekend immersed in Arabic dance and music in a spectacular setting. The venue is Ford Castle, a spectacular building surrounded by the Northumbrian countryside. During the weekend, each day from Friday to Sunday, there are about 3 to 4 classes going on at the same time with a maximum of 30 people allowed in each at any one time.
There is a variety of classes to cater for every level, from beginners to advanced, and covering different styles of bellydance. There is a performance platform on Friday night for participants to perform and a hafla on Saturday night with professional dancers and live music. A Farida Souk, to purchase your belly dance gear, will be available throughout the weekend.
