Details: Come along and join us for a full day of dance workshops of all styles, in Oxford. Subjects taught include, Modern Egyptian, Saidi stick, Raqs Sharqi, how to use "wings", baladi, bollybelly and club fusion. "Dancers learn your Arabic rhythms" is a special Arabic drum workshop aimed at dancers by leading percussionist John Sleiman.
Some of the Uk’s top teachers will showcase their talents in a Teachers lunchtime performance platform. Beginners are welcome, through to advanced. Guest teachers include Maria D'Silva, Afra al Kahira, Anne White, Nikki Livermore, Dawn Marie Wedlock, Loreley Rice, Helen Sleiman, Dodo Pratt & Carrie Nicholson.
