Time: 2pm-5pm (pamper day); 6pm (hafla).
Cost: £5 for whole day if paid before 28th August, otherwise £10.
Venue: Chepstow Racecourse, Chepstow, UK.
Details: A relaxing day for belly dancers, including pampering sessions, dance demos, makeup workshops, a belly dance bazaar and a dance platform.
The event will start at 2pm until 5pm and will be followed by a hafla, starting at 6pm with performances and an open dance floor at the end of the night to strut your stuff.
The dance demos include:
- Tribal Style with Trent Valley Tribal
- Tunisian Folkloric with Carla Phillips
- Fat Chance Bellydance Style with approved sister studio Usha Oseye
- Isis Wings with Safeena
These will consist of a short performance, followed by a discussion on the origins and characteristic of the style.
In the bazaar you will be able to find everything for your belly dancing needs, from belts, to costumes and props. Among the traders you will find Ashara Bazaar, From Cairo with Love, Orient1, Everything Egyptian and Moonstone Bellydance.
There are still performances slots available for the hafla, so please do contact us! Free entrance for the first 5 performers in groups and for soloists, additional group performers pay £5.00 per person.
