Details: Hossam Ramzy is a famous and accomplished Egyptian drummer, based in the UK and Serena is a graceful and skilled dancer. Together they will introduce you to the Rhythms of Egyptian music.
On Saturday 2nd April you will have the chance to learn a Saidi choreography designed by Hossam and Serena Ramzy. The choreography is based on 'Om Faraon 'from 'Egypt Unveiled', one of the new compositions by Hossam Ramzy and Phil Thornton.
On Sunday 3rd April Serena Ramzy will teach you a drum solo routine to the composition ‘Hawary Al Qahiraha’. Master Egyptian percussionist Hossam Ramzy will talk you through the rhythms and cultural influences.
