Details: Belly Dance Mania is back in the Midlands for its second edition in 2011. The first edition in June 2010 had the honour to welcome international belly dance stars Randa Kamel and Nagwa Fouad from Egypt.
This year Randa Kamel is back with other great belly dance teachers and performers. Belly Dance Mania lasts for a full weekend full of workshops for every level and evening shows; it includes also a bazaar and a dance competition.
Guest teachers this year include, in addition to the great Randa Kamel who is back for the second time, other worldwide renown dancers and instructors: Leila Haddad (born in Tunisia and based in Pairs), Dr Mohamed Hassan (from Egypt but based in Germany) and Khaled Mahmoud (Egyptian male belly dancer living in the UK).
Other local instructors and performers include Maria D’Silva (one of the event’s organisers), Eugenia Taberna, Imman Mussa, Nadine Demountfacon and Nikki Livermoore.
