Interesting information: I got into belly dance after a broken marriage, weight problems and a diagnosis of osteoarthritis. The doctor told me to get off my "fat backside" to stop feeling sorry for myself and do something about my life, or I'd be in a wheelchair by the age of 50! Feeling very down trodden, with very low self esteem, it took a year of persuasion by a belly dance friend to get me to classes. I have'nt looked back. With 3 TV performances over the last 5 years and regular public performances, working with my dance troups Yallah and Sadeek and oh so busy with 3 regular weekly classes, I so love my life ? thank you Doc, for telling me how it was, that "kick in my oh so (then) fat backside, was just what I needed. So you can change your life too, all you need is to want to.
