Experience & style: Kay Taylor is an experienced belly dance teacher, with over 10 years experience teaching Arabic dance in the North-east of England. Kay studied belly dance at the JWAAD school (Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance), London, and now is head of the belly dance teachers training course at the JWAAD. Kay Taylor’s belly dance classes focus on a piece of choreography and on improving technique. The first half of the class is usually based around technique and the second half around more complex steps and bellydance moves. Kay’s favourite style is mainly Egyptian pop, which is the contemporary belly dance style of Egypt.
