Other additional information: Aziza has performed and taught in the Birmingham area since 1974. Her training began with Najwa Bateh and includes classes with Egyptian superstar, Nagwa Fouad, choreographer and director off the world-famous Reda Troupe, Mahmoud Reda, Mohammad Khalil, Director of the Egyptian National Fokloric Troupe, American dance legend, Dahlena, Dalilah of Las Vegas and Spain, Cassandra, Ibrahim Farrah and Raqia Hassan. With 35 years of performance experience, Aziza was presented by Prince Fahd of Saudi Arabia during a grand banquet at Maxwell Airforce Base in Montgomery, AL.
She has performed in the Middle Eastern and Persian communitis for weddings, haflas, engagement parties and for numerous social events including a gala for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham's Interntional Fair, and many, many private functions and nightclub appearances. She has taught and performed at workshops in the Southeastern area and traveled with the Birmingham-based Greek band, The Spartans.
