Other additional information: I have been teaching belly dancing for 6 years, I am a fully qualified teacher and studio fitness instructor.
Interesting information: Belly dancing is a great way to get fit and have
fun. It also boosts confidence. Ladies dance together, enjoy each other’s
company and support and encourage one another. There are no ‘cliques’,
everyone is made to feel welcome and the classes are held in a circle, with
no front or back row, to make everyone feel comfortable and to allow everyone to see the instructor (and vice versa!). Some ladies feel confident
enough to perform in public (others are not keen but often come to support
the ones who do) and do so at various events, often raising money for
charity. Last year Georgia’s charity Bellython raised about £1,00 for the
NSPCC.
