After watching these bellydance DVDs I have given my opinion, which is impartial, but obviously just an opinion and, as such, other people may or may not agree with it. However, I still hope these reviews will help belly dancers around the world to choose which DVD is more suitable for their needs. I will constantly update this page as I get to watch more belly dance DVDs. All the following reviews are for DVDs that I have personally watched. • Instructional belly dance DVDs: in this section you will find DVDs which teach oriental dance technique, routines, choreography and more.
• Performance DVDs, where you will find DVDs with oriental dance performances rather than teaching points and instructions.
• Fitness DVDs: this section is about belly dance DVDs which aim mainly at improving fitness by using oriental dance inspired movements but that are not necessarily aimed at belly dancers. These DVDs are aimed at anybody who would like to vary their fitness routine, but they are also good for belly dancers as the exercises are particularly useful to condition the muscles for specific oriental dance movements.
• Egyptian style DVDs: in this section you will find reviews on DVDs that focus mainly on Egytpian dance.
• Tribal bellydance DVD reviews: section about tribal style belly dance DVDs specifically.
